Behind The Screen Series-ing

Hot time.

Summer nights in the city.

In the land of endless summer, Jamaica.

And last night was truly hot in the city as Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records Restaurant and Bar returned with their weekly Tuesday night live show.

Last night's very special artist was Sizzla, straight out of Judgment Yard, backed by one of Jamaica's most popular veteran bands, the Firehouse Crew.

Marketplace was the spot to be Tuesday the 16th of September 2014 and it was as the Behind The Screen Series set the place on fire.

Trust me when I tell you that last night's sponsors couldn't have been happier with the turn out and the love that was shared between Sizzla and the massive crowd.

From the moment Sizzla stepped on the stage the crowd went wild and Sizzla and the crowd kept that energy going all night long.

Sizzla looking very dapper as usual had the ladies eating out of his hand and he, also, had the men saying "forward" all night.

The international artist sung old tunes, new tunes and he, also, brought along a good amount of friends to help entertain the crowd.

The artist sung songs from 19-something until 2014 as the crowd sang along.

At one point or two points during the show Sizzla was able to just stand there as the loving crowd sang to him.

Jah Cure, whose wife was the MC for the night, joined Sizzla on the stage and performed a few tunes with Sizzla as the crowd went slightly crazy.

And just when you thought it could not get any better the great Brother Desmond aka Ninja Man stepped on the stage to congratulate Sizzla on his awesome performance and for all the work that Sizzla has done throughout the years to promote Reggae music around the world.

Sizzla's song "Dry Cry" almost had a few of the ladies crying as the ever clean Sizzla showed his more loving side.

The men in the crowd responded to the artist's bad boy songs by dj-ing along with Sizzla almost word for word.

The crowd consisted of every nationality and race imaginable and there was nothing but love and unity in the building.

Tracks and Records just gets better with time and the food kept flowing from the kitchen all night and all I seen were empty plates as the wait staff brought back the dishes.

The bar was also in top form and I seen not one angry face in the place.

I did see a lot of familiar faces, though, as Jamaica's top entertainers and music people came out in their numbers to show Sizzla some love.

In the building I saw my big long time friend Ronaldo aka Rumblood from Ward 21, the top agent Agent Sasco aka Assassin, Jamaica's songbird CeCile, Chin from the big bad Sound System Stonelove, Skyjuice was up in VIP chilling out, the ever hot looking Jamaican socialite Christelle Harris was there with her latest fab hairstyle, Mr and Mrs Paypak were also in the house looking like the loving couple they are, as well as tv personality Winford Williams and the Onstage TV crew.

I could go on and on about all the "beautiful people" in the building.

All and all I had a lovely and lively time and it seemed to me that almost everyone else did, too.

Big up Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records.

They had everything under control and running like clock work.

I, personally, can't wait for next week.

:)
