The rain fell like cats and dogs earlier that day but that never kept the music fans from coming out in their numbers.
And the brave souls who did make the show must have thanked their lucky stars that the earlier rainfall never frighten them away from coming out to hear I-Octane, whose voice and performance has only gotten stronger and better.
I-Octane gave a stellar performance and showed, me, at least, that although he is a "bad man", he is, also, very much a loving, lovable and spiritual man.
From culture tunes to lovers rock and then to bad man tunes and then back to lovers rock I-Octane showed that he can hold his own on any riddim and in any style.
He even sung his self-proclaimed favorite song,"Walk With Jah Jah", off of the Good Memories Riddim of 2012.
I-Octane brought along his own set of friends but it was Vanessa Bling who stood out among I-Octane's crew and not just because she was the only female he brought along to grace the stage with him.
Tracks and Records again did a wonderful job hosting this week's show and one has to wonder how they manage to keep raising the bar week after week.
The crowd was not ready to leave the venue even after the show ended and this week's special guest dj kept the place jumping until the last patron walked out the door.
Big up Red Stripe, Fame FM and the Observer Newspaper who have been on board with Tracks and Records' Behind the Screen Series from its beginning.
And, of course, big up all the beautiful people who were in the building.
And see you all next week.
