Spite

So.
I'm back.
And my right ear just went PING.
And as I sat there with the ringing pinging so deep in my ear that it almost hurt I wondered who was talking about me.
Why?
Because the infamous Old Wives said so, that's why.
They said, and it's true, don't you know, that when one of your ears ring Ping in your head someone is talking about you.
The esteemed Old Wives even give you the two reasons which you are most likely being discussed.
Hmm.
And you can tell which of the two reasons being discussed by which ear is ringing PING.
Left is for love
And right is for spite.
Can you guess which one of my ears was pinging?
![]() |
Yup.
My right ear.
I could have done without that little gem of information.
Truly.
I could care less about the spiteful remarks being made about me.
I wish it was my left ear that just rung PUNG.
Love.
Amor.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Talk lovingly about me all day.
Make my left ear ring all day and I would be blissful.
And blessed.
Do it now.

Christmas Bells-ing
Christmas Bells
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
"I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till, ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Then from each black accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
"There is no peace on earth," I said;
"For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!"
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
"God is not dead; nor doth he sleep!
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song

It Starts
Just a regular day wear.
Well, the time has come to start with my soon to be, God willing, ton of picture post.
Most will be of me.
Hmm.
Some will be of others.
Enjoy.
Or not.
